Amazing video, really the best video I’ve seen on the Polaroid go, loved it, subbed and liked 👏👏👏

Thanks for this review! I love how you described the colours from the photos taken with the Polaroid - I totally get what you mean when you say that they look like memories; they definitely give a vintage feel to me. I alsl love the unpredictability from the photos, but sometimes it hurts when it doesn't come out how you wanted and the film is so expensive 😭

Just a few hours ago I scrolled through Instagram and saw pictures of what looked like a Baseballgame in the 90s. Yet it was shot recently just with a film camera. In our heads its saved under "memories" or "this is how it looked back then" when all that changed is the technology

Thanks for watching and commenting. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. And, yes, I experience the unpredictable nature of the film the same way, exciting but expensive! Cheers.

Is this the gen 2? So you recommend this for me? Just getting my first one and for nostalgia but also brighter

The camera I showed was the gen one. I don't know if they still make the Gen 1. I'm sure you can probably find some out there on store shelves that have not been sold. I don't even know that generation 2 is marked on the package of the new Polaroid Go cameras. However, it's going to take a great photo and good light no matter what you do. So enjoy.

@@RobertHammGen 2 doesn’t say Go and I think the Polaroid is on the right side of the camera instead of the left.(when reading the word from left to right.)

wouldnt have thought something like losing a recipy is possible in our day and age. maybe someone does still have it, yet wouldnt hand it out (for enough money).

You are probably right, but that's the story as I understand it.

As far as I know they weren't allowed to use certain chemicals anymore.

I believe the company making the chemicals stoped when Polaroid went bankrupt. Also some of the chemicals are not allowed because of modern environmental issues. Back in the late 60s early 70s Polaroid spent an estimated $800-$1b on camera and film while current Polaroid has a fraction of this money for film production and development.

What if you have bright lights in your house? Can you get a good shot at all?

Yes. Instax needs light.

ALL instant film needs A LOT of light. Indoor photography always requires a flash and as much light as you can get.
