Anyone with some brains could figure out the story and that defendants did work. Plaintiff said they worked 20 days. Defendants said 45. Since the plaintiff would have reason to give a lower number of days, and the defendant to give a higher one, JJ naturally took the middle, which was 30. And plaintiff paid them 1000. If they really didn't do ANY work or only 2 days of work, why would she have paid them 1000 at all? Obviously they worked quite a number of days for her to be willing to even part with that much money. And then why would she allow them to just drive off with the car unless she decided not to pay them cash but to pay them with the car instead? They didn't magic the keys out of her pocket or Rob her of it, else she would have called the police. So obviously she willingly let them drive off with it in exchange for something else - either for money or in return for her not having to pay them the rest of the salary she owed them. Based on her saying 20 days, I would say it was more days than that and she owed them money. Because 1000/2/20 means she only paid them 25 a day which is way too low even for 20 days of work.

The daughter gave it away they are guilty and are lying . Judge Judy got it wrong on this one. She should have asked more questions about the hours worked

Yeah they do and they’ve always told me that I needed to sign the title over. So I’m not buying her story that she has the title and they told her she could hold into it in her name and only give him another form.

That lady is a wreck. Some people's minds just work that way, "I'll pay you hourly to help" but not have it occur to them to keep track. "I'll sell you the jeep, we'll figure it out later" then not follow up to figure it out. Some people's brains are just deficient in being able to plan and follow through. This woman looks like she lives in the moment and in the past, but can't comprehend the future.

$1000 total for 20 days? If we are to believe her, that’s $50/day for 5 hours of work per day? Absolutely not. For cleaning a hoarders mess, and between one or two people? That’s unjust. SMH
