Happened to me . I was a cashier 4 yrs . Ago ,. They always give u a large bill for a small purchase ,. Then compliment u and confuse u , and then want to buy their big bill back., . First recognize this scam , Close ur cash drawer immediately. Give them the correct change , for The first purchase . Then the transaction is done . Tell them to move on . Do not deal with them . Close the drawer. Close the sale.

They pass me a large bill, I give back the change. They want to exchange it for smaller change. Fine. As I bit by bit slowly count it out (They aren't catching me off guard. I've been in this line of work far to long. You know they're trying to scam). Third time they ask for something different amounts either I'll call over for assistance (this person is a con whispered just enough) sets that tone or I'll say "there's a bank across the street" "my drawer is low " " there are others waiting " but the best is after the 2nd exchange (may not be a scammer, don't want to be a jerk) simply closing my draw and respond with "oh I can only open the drawer with another purchase." Be GUARANTEED I'll be pointing them out to my supervisors And the other cashiers who are around me.

It's called Quick Change where a person will buy a cheap item then ask for change several times. Confusing the cashier. It was a polplar scam at Walmart. When I would view the videos the cashier would be so confused. There use to be a Mexican woman and two children she use to hit several stores a day.The children was trained to cut up at the register to distract the cashier. Walmart put a policy in place that cashier could not give change at the registers. If a customer wanted additional change they had to go to customer service

They had a way of analyzing society that justified their behavior. As I grew older I realized that they were hustlers and most had heir own scheme working and were masters at it. Majority didn't prey on their own people or work their home town. In some way we are privileged to watch a real pro at work.

Its not theft on his behalf if the cashier hands him the money... Its the cashiers fault for not paying attention... He didn't steal anything... If you were to search him he stole nothing... Its poor business management hiring a useless cashier that can't count or handle business at a professional level... Do the math... In a courtroom if he was searched before and no evidence found this would be tossed out from false accusations... No evidence no case... Look if i buy something in a store for 5 dollars but 2 dollars and 50 cents of it was in quarters and the cashier hands me back 3 dollars that's not my problem they don't have the knowledge to run that cash register without shorting themselves... However as decent human being you can always correct the cashier but you can't expect everyone to be a decent human being... Not everyone cares about laws till they are the ones struggling with their liberties...
