To answer your question in summary is I map the text into the presentation, for the image and gif, I would export them and attach them to the presentation. There’s Figma plug in you can use to export the Figma to Google Slide or Keynotes.

Hi May, thank you for the content you are creating, it is so informative! I have worked for a gen tech company for 7 years and all of my work is considered proprietary. I was wondering if you have any tips on how to still stand out when you can’t show real product work? I am assuming I have some late nights ahead of me re-creating more generalized content 🫣

Oh that’s tricky! My understanding is once the product is launched, you can have a locked web page for pointed visitors to view your work but not general public. If your product can’t be seen at all, I would recreate the workflow in a more general matter w/o including the proprietary content. The interviewers would be interested in your process and skills, like this is how I’m building a task management system, but not mentioning a specific brand or use the brand’s content. Take this as a grain of salt, I would recreate if I was in your shoes. Good luck!

Thanks May! Yes, in my case all products created are proprietary unfortunately. You have validated my assumption, I have some work to do 🫣
