The design is way too close to the pocket, you have the bottom of the design 1/4 to half inch from the top of the pocket.

Hi Eve, hi fellow viewers. This is an amazing tip. Thank you I really appreciate that you’re giving enough experience to make an informed decision if I’d ever go into business. The fact that you instruct over different mediums and machine is invaluable to me. Not to mention the fact that you provide vendors and there information free of charge. Because like many people I live on a fixed income. Thank you so much 🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻 I’m actually awaiting exceptance into your hoop group. I know this is an older video, to make sure I viewed all your videos

Opps, the orginal comment disappeared. Sorry. Back to the comment. After completing the template, I cover the lettering with scotch tape to make the lettering last forever. I also write the brand of the garment on the template for future reference. making a plastic template

Eve! I thank God for you and I have learned a lot from you... as God is blessing you to increase your buisness. Please get a hoopmaster or something like it... I can do what you just said for a few shirts.. but for as many as I know you are going to get now that you have a multineedle machine.. you will not have time for that.. and the first time to do 1 or 100 jackets, polos ,t-shirts etc.and they are in the same place everytime.. you will be like what the what!... believe me... save you so much time and money... I am a witness. Bless you girl..

Hello beautiful Thank you for this video. I was a little confused on the measurements you had mentioned that you used to get the center. You had said that it was 12" long however it look more like 6" inches to me since the template wasn't 12"inches wide.

I am not the best at math, LOL! I may have mis-spoken. I lay the ruler against the top of the pocket and divide the pocket length by 2 to get the center measurement. Sorry about that!

@@TheBabysBooty Thank you ! I do have one question I can't seem to find an answer for. How do you find the leader thread when opening a new spool of embroidery thread? I have ruined several spools trying to pick the right thread. I got 100 spools of Embroidex threads from Amazon, there is no obvious way to start the thread. Thanks

+rosetta gilliard if you are going to do a lot of shirts the same placement, you can cut it down to the placement line and trace the line across the shirt. I ended up prepping shirts that way as well.

Question.. Can that method be used on a 4x4 machine?
@TheBabysBooty

Yes it can! You use the grid that came with the 4x4 hoop to align with the pocket lines.
