Hi, I am just learning to do lentil beads and this was very understandable and clear for me! Plus it gives me a way to use old canes I have. Thanks very much.

Hi 😍 if you do tiny circle motions when making your lentil beads they will end up flatter , so the bigger the circle the pointier they’ll be , keep your centre of your bead at the exact same point too ( so a cross point on your acrylic block)with tiny circles and they’ll be perfect ❤️❤️❤️

What about the resin for the edges????? It will just pop off both sides after a while if you don’t!!! Oh and where did you get your little drill that’s awesome handy tool!!!! Beautiful little project !!! ADORABLE 😍

I've never had the resin pop off so I tend to sand the sides to a light shine as resining is quite a pain on the sides. I sell the drill here. www.etsy.com/au/listing/722966201/automatic-push-drill?ref=shop_home_active_13&frs=1&crt=1

I think these make beautiful fall earrings especially Thanksgiving and Halloween. Do they observe these two holidays in Australia? I'm thinking they are only observed in America but not sure on that.

Thank you for another fabulous tutorial! I have 2 questions… 1. why did you choose to brush your resin on the back rather than using a skewer like you did on the front? 2. How long did you cure the back using that brand of UV Resin? Thank you!
@JessamaTutorials
4 жыл бұрын
1. I used a brush because it's a runnier resin and so is easier to spread with the brush. 2. I cured for half an hour.

Hi Samantha, really awesome project...two questions...how do you finish the edges of the earrings, and if you did make the beads, would it be OK to cover them with Varathane, even though the lentils are covered with UV resin? Thanks so much!
@JessamaTutorials
4 жыл бұрын
I tend to leave the edges if they are smooth or I'll sand them to a light shine. Varathane will work great.
