Use a big fender washer. Use this even with the new hole you drilled in the shield. That whole area is weaker and the washer will help. Your are still going to have to replace the shield eventually. Another fix is to put a thin metal strap (maybe an inch or 2 wide) across the back of the shield to the hole on the other side. Pop rivit to the shield in a couple places to help keep it in place.

👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🗽🙏🏻 Enjoyed! 1) Long term fix on under belly cover would be to take a piece of pipe strap 24" long and bend it in half (lining up the holes) and slid it over the edge towards the opposite side. Now line up the end hole in pipe strap with the original hole and put several bolts/screws in the pipe strap along the edge of the cover. You could also run the pipe strap clear across to the other side/bolt. Either way would be stronger than original! 2) always carry a couple of log chains on tractor and excavator "necessity" for a true homesteader. 3) need to turn boat and canoe upside down and I wouldn't leave my portable generator sitting outside in the rain (at least put in under the boat!) just saying👍 4) good job on the trail blazing.....never can have too many trails for Melissa and the dogs. 5) pond looking good....no one can ever say you don't stay busy...stay safe👍

Man o man, that's what I call fun! Making another trail in the woods, awesome. On the slope at the pond fetching first log out, you switched to camera on tripod, instantly I felt the pucker effect. Yep, that was steep. I laughed at the floater when it broke in half, you had just said it wouldn't. Gosh, I envy you with your property, I absolutely love the forest. I've often thought about America when it was being settled, the virgin forests all over, how wonderful that must have been. Canada has some nice, thick healthy forests left today. Mike, I know you're proud of your achievements, and you most certainly should be. You are not alone in your achievements, your family will enjoy the Morgan plantation for many years coming. I'm so very thankful you record so much and share w me. Your real beats the hell out of the made up, stupid, commercial crap TV! I think you look good w your beard. You should really let it grow long, if not just this once, since it's started. Nice and long, well trimmed out, will make you look very distinguished! A strong outdoor man needs that rugged look! Please have cameras on when Melissa arrives, that's sure to bring happy tears! 27 minutes today was terrific! You could have made it 2 hours long! Thanks Mike👍🚜❤
