-89 is the same as 90. - In the old design, the easiest way I found to remove the timing belt is to undo the camshaft bolt and slide the wheel out along with the belt. Installation is the same. Real easy to move the timing one tooth this way as well. Rather than having to loosen the water pump and leak coolant everywhere and maybe ruin the gasket. With the balancer on the later design, perhaps its easier to just make a mark where the tensioner bolt is and then loosen that.

I used the C20xe head gasket like you said. Did you have the right number which you used? I started the engine today and had a massive amount of coolant in the Oil after 10minutes. Have to take of the head again...sh..... Could you tell me please? Thank you.

I don’t have the gasket here with me but the Victor-Reinz number should be 61-33005-10 or 613300510. The OEM number could be 5607409, 5607628, 9118313, 92067765, 93188114, HG10065, 1114185Z10 or 8920677650 according to Rock Auto. It could also be a FelPro 26317-PT. What number and manufacturer’s gasket did you use?

@@olzkng I used 627.192 from elring. But I am sorry, it was not your Video the C20xe head gasket was prefer to use. I think I will use the felpro. Had no issues with it, run 182hp 280 nm at 9psi on last dyno.

@@PaschaGTL you car is beautiful! I wish I could understand what the dyno guy was saying but I could tell he loved your car. It looks like you bought a MLS head gasket like Cometic makes. They can be tough to make seal well sometimes depending what the layers are made of. Sometimes you have to split them and put sealer on the individual layers to keep them from seeping coolant. I hope the FelPro works better for you.

@@olzkng thank you, yea it is a funny car and nobody in germany does know it. I thought it could help sealing the combustion Chambers using the metal gasket because I use stock TTY bolts and I want to get bigger Boost😇.
