I feel in some sense, we are all poor boys longs away from home. Were are always walking further away from our safe beginnings, never being satisfied with what scraps of coin we got. This tune is wonderful and just the name itself evokes a thousand stories in my head when I hear it.

I imagine this song as a dialogue between a boy and a train. They seem to be having a philosophical discussion.

The Live In Germany version of the song is a timeless one. Particularly, the section towards the end that is not played on Blind Joe Death. This was a nice way to revisit the rendition, and I wish that you will keep it up as I am sure you will.

Great cover of a classic, and you've certainly captured the essence of Fahey's playing. Hope to see more!

This reminds me of my good buddy who constantly belts out Fahey effortlessly. Great stuff.

Very nice! This was the first Fahey song I heard that got me into Fahey back in the mid 90's. Also the first Fahey song I learned.

Great cover of this classic. I try to play it, although the version you play is different and better. The opening is better, never heard it this way, will try and copy you without the tabs. Give it some time. Thanks Great stuff

Great rendition. If I had one suggestion it would be to play the piece a bit slower.

I love to play it slow. But the concept of this cover was trying to play like in 1978 concert

Sorry for the annoying question, but what are you using to hit the strings on your left hand? I saw him use something similar in performance from 1969.
