Judy & Bobby mesmerizing and magnificent together, they should have made an album together a lost opportunity to be sure but great to have this sublime moment...timeless

Its has the intimacy of running into a small dive bar. You feel incredibly lucky to have come into a space where two amazing artists make magic...this must be likened to Judy being asked to sing at a cocktail party. Wow.

Too right, mate. Judy could project to the rafters of the biggest concert halls and then she could draw you in like this, with a whisper. Amazing.

I guess nobody ever wanted to tell Bobby Cole he made some of the worst-looking faces when he played. 0:19 reminds me of Lurch on The Addams Family. Fantastic musician, but I had to mention the faces because they’re so pronounced.

Your Lurch comparison shows a keen eye. Save for Tyrone Power, Judy couldn't be accused of preferring handsome men. Bobby, then married in NY, took off to LA to be Judy's special material writer/boyfriend during the last phase of her series to rub Mel Torme's face in it for being difficult in both functions. Cole shacked up again with Judy in 1967 during her tour, conducting everything at double-speed. Post-Judy, Cole wound up working in a little hotel bar, more modest than Jilly's.

Just heard of this guy in the last week. I knew he was a singer, but has no idea he was this excellent a pianist. What a talent Bobby Cole was. May he R.I.P.
