Cat Stevens is possibly the most underrated guitarist of his era. He could make the acoustic talk almost as good as Hendrix could make the electric

This whole album is incredible, front to back, start to finish. Listen to Mona Bone Jakon, it's awesome. His first few albums were far better than his later ones. His nerves were raw, and he was still wondering not only would he make it, but was he good enough. I love this album.

One of my faves! Caught between the pop of his 60s career and the bedsit albuns of the 60s, trying to find his voice. Bloody beautiful music from track one to the end!!!

God yes!..Tom Jones does a spectacular rendition of this! I actually forgot he redid this until you mentioned it and when I first heard the Jones version I forgot that it was a Cat song but knew I heard it before somewhere so it was very cool you commented on it for me anyways! One of the rare exceptions for me that I particularly enjoy a cover of a song I like the original of so much.. don't know if I like the remake better but I do enjoy it just as much. Tom Jones really cooks on covers! 😉👍
