I remember the 80s blk kids doing this dance now we're erased from the history to the point yall are calling this asian man "master" of a dance created by black american youth

It is definitely important to pass on the knowledge about the roots of the dance and inform people about its afro-american origin. Dance teachers and hiphop ambassadors are generally aware of this imo. These dance styles have been around for 50 years now and spread to every corner of the globe, so you will find masters of the dance in asia, europe and anywhere else these days.
