Yes, syncopated rhythms are very hard to get right. Well done

Qualifiers: I love P-Tree and Steven Wilson in general; I know this song VERY well as being my favorite melancholy-feeling song of all time; I watch a LOT of youtube, music and otherwise, and I think I've left maybe two other comments: You absolutely nailed it! I didn't even know the left hand stuff was as involved as it is -- all the nuance and feel is there! Bravo

This is so awesome! Dude If you could give me a MIDI file for this it'd be so awesome! It's difficult to learn while watching it on video. Thanx for the video tho..I've subscribed too...cheers! :)

Awesome job! I'm trying to learn the song by looking at your fingers, but it's so hard! Did you by any chance made a sheet of it?

0:59 really threw me off for a while. Like, the right hand is just constant dotted 8th notes, and for some reason its a quarter note once. That must be a mistake in the original right? I thought you made a mistake at first, but its in the original version too. Well, even more practicing i guess

Or, it's intentional to make a smoother transition at the end of the pattern. If it's intentional, I have even more respect for this band

Awesome cover! I was able to piece together the parts from your video, I just can't get the rhythm down of the intro, I know it's in 4/4, but the polyrhythm of the piano really throws me off. Any tips on how to count this? Originally I tried as 6s and 5s but no regular pattern of that is established.

Its dotted 16th notes! So the pattern starts has 6 accents in the first bar and 5 in the sec and third and repeats.

Since there are only 6 beats in the first bar starting on 1 while the next bar starts on the AND of 1 and the third bar on the E of 1
