yes but if you take lsd and listen to this, its actually overwhelming... having done that many times, listening to this now messes with my head.. in a good way.. it takes me back . when your on lsd, you experience emotions and a state of consciousness so far out there, that its beyond explanation, and beyond our understanding.. and everytime i hear this now, years later, i get little flickers of those emotions.. its surreal.

federz666 interesting. I did on my trip recently and I didn't receive such intensity that I mostly found with pink floyd and grateful dead tunes. but that's just one man's personal trip oppinion

federz666 different strokes for different folx. I think it depends on how one individually reacts. I listened to Phase 1 on LSA (LSD’s naturally occurring cousin), I barely recall the experience though.

Geez you don't have to take that much dudes. I listened to this in my drug days and I never had memory lapses. My very first experience I listened to Signify and Together were Stranger by No-Man on LSA. I got this feeling that they were about a general theme of change. Signify is about societal change through digitalization and the marginalisation of the individual sense of identity in the era of the internet. Together were Stranger is about growing old and alienated from society and your family. The worst part was the nausea. And the funniest part was the mental image of Steven and Tim Bowness serenading and spooning me in my bed. And the nicest visuals was when I had a subtle impression of coral reefs in an undulating pattern to Waiting part 2.

It's like a deeply atmospheric sci-fi soundtrack. Sounds like something you'd hear in Mass Effect... beautiful!

This has to be the BEST way to understand how it feels to be high on LSD. That's the beauty of Porcupine Tree... they KNOW how to make EMOTION and SIMULATION OF CONSCIOUSNESS through sound and music.

I didn’t realize until today this EP came out on the day I was born. This album was my gateway to psychedelia.

I read The Foundation by Isaac Asimov with this piece as the soundtrack of the book in my head. Best way to read a Sci-Fi book 👌 (The soundtrack of the movie "Moon" also works haha).
