I switched my Pirellis as soon as I could. The Michelins were night-and-day better. The Pirellis are banana peels particularly in the wet.

Hi, i have a 991.1 c2s cabriolet. Do the 305s fit on the classic style wheels? Also, in respect to the side walls sticking out a little, which tire size looks better? Thank you in advance. Sean

Yes buy it. 305’s look better obviously.

love the look with Michelin PS4S. Do you use spacer on your rear wheels?

I know this is an old video- but these PS4 tires you bought, have you been happy with them? And we’re they “N” rated like Porsche recommends?
@PetroHead

Not N rated but they were amazing. Buy them! Car is sold now.

I have been confused whether the official size for the rears on the 991.1 is 295 or 305. I think I have seen Porsche claiming to be either, but do you know if they officially recommend using 305?
@PetroHead

The C4S comes in 305 and it’s the same size rim so it’s a non issue.

i understand that speeding in the usa can get you in jail...that being said, even my grandmother can drive quicker than you do, i do not see any justification for you putting 305 tyres on at all for the way you handle the car and the super low speeds you are comfortable to drive with...besides that twisty road you talking about has nothing twisty about it and can comfortably be challenged at 100 MPH averages with one hand on the wheel. Im not sure from what planet you come from, and you seem to me quite an old timer too, but even 18 year old know that michelin tyres are quieter and last longer than pirelli. Last, i would strongly discourage you to do any track time at all, for two reasons. 1. if you felt the car wiggly with ur old set of tyres at these low speeds, then you have a very bad suspension issue, and would strongly recommend you get those fixed. 2. You sick at driving even at low speeds and have zero understanding of any kind of vehicle dynamics. Dont do track days, you will end up most likely damaging your car and what is most concerning hurting some other person. What i would instead recommend is for you to drop down some serious cash and get some serious professional driving course, first for entry level and then perhaps for 200 MPH speeds or better grab a range rover which is more suitable to your surroundings and daily.
