Porsche Suspension
We are starting off our series on Porsche suspension. In this video, we cover the rear trailing arms and replacing the bushings.
Even though I show you the arms going back in, we did lots of other work before they went in. The next video will be on the rear spring plates and the torsion bars.
You can clean up your parts more than this, and even send parts to powder coat and paint. We were not performing a restoration, rather a repair. So, we just cleaned up the parts as we went along.
Thank you for getting us over 1200 subscribers! We still have a lot of work in editing. We are also looking forward to some collaborations with @mike’srestorations. Stay tuned for that.
With suspension work, we generally stick with original style rubber bushings, and though many of you choose to use polyurethane we do not like the results when driving.
We have more suspension videos in the works, including the torsion bars and spring plates, we cover ride height, wheel alignment, and even some Boxster work.
