In this episode I take a trip to one of the ShengSi islands. It's a group of beautiful islands just below Shanghai, they are part of Zhejiang province. It is also where the biggest container port in the world is situated and we'll be checking it out and getting some drone footage of it.
It takes about 3 hours to get there by public transport. The original plan was to go to 杨善镇 which is a village on one of the islands but unfortunately to take the ferry from the main island one needs to take ID with them. When you're doing cross provincial travel or going to different cities in China, you need to bring ID. My friend and I didn't so ended up walking around the main island with the port. It's quite desolate, dirty and not a touristic place. But hey, not many people go there to have a walk, so it was a unique experience.
