Sizewise it's similar to the 20L iceco go20 but cheaper price. Built a lot like the BougeRV 38L fridge I have at about the same price. I imagine most of these are made in the same factories, simply rebadged. I used a fridge on a recent trip and it worked well. Glad to see this unit has the nicer power plug.

The name could possibly come from the fact that +40F is the same Temperature as +4.44C = F40C4 = TMP

Here's what the company says about the name: ""F40C4" refers to the temperature--40 °F, 4°C. Keeping the food at a low temperature can slow the growth of the bacteria.40 °F(4°C) or below will be the proper temperatures.F40C4TMP is devoted to providing a convenient and healthy lifestyle for our customers by the portable refrigerator. It can be used as a refrigerator or freezer and you can enjoy cool drinks anywhere."

I have the BougeRV 30quart fridge (a copy of this), and there's nothing to tie it down. So I bought some D-Rings that get stuck on Inflatable Boats, and glued them onto the front and back facing each corner. I'm sure you can think of many other items that could use something like this to tie them down. How's that for an idea?

Great video, couple things im wondering, what is the power pack you are using? how long would you be able to run the fridge on the pack at a normal temp for foods? Looks like it might be my next purchase and really enjoyed this review! Keep up the great work

Hi Jeremy, nice fridge, but in a grid down/field situation, I wouldn't use the AC "mains" supply option supplied with the fridge with your power station. Essentially you are stepping up the power supply using the built in inverter, and stepping back down with the fridge PSU. This is very inefficient and wasting energy. Much more efficient to use the supplied DC cable and plug directly into the power station. As a rule I don't run an inverter unless I absolutely have to. Most of my tech is 12v compatible, or I have a suitable adapter - such as my laptop that has a 12 to 19v dc converter. I hardly never use AC powered devices in the field.

I'm well aware of that and actually chose to use the ac as the worst case scenario for wattage pull. I do appreciate your attention to detail though, im glad you picked up on that, most people would not have thought of that . I'll have to mention that in a future video, thank you 👍

A couple of points; If your vehicle has a standard 110 outlet, with inverter, read owners manual, my truck has a 110 outlet with 400w inverter but the manual states do not operate compressor drive appliances! The cord with transform for ac, it’s a 110/220 v, so it can be used with 110 ac or with a 220 power cord (additional purchase). Good review Thank you
