Excellent. You can use winged nuts or winged bolts and you won’t need a wrench or similar tool to fasten and unfasten.

yatsomitai good idea. I can try those and see how tight i can get them and if they can hold the pressure.

yatsomitai the wing nuts work nicely and hold air. The next design will be even easier to assemble by using bike parts. But maybe it will cost a bit more.

Hi, how are your designs coming along now? I've tried, but found the actual hose material leaks so it's impossible to seal fully, loses 1.5 psi every 10 mins. No Matter how much you tighten the valve or the clamps, the material leaks

@@EVO1087R yes I have one that works well and the other as described above. Both setup in the same way. Btw, for the one that works, I've set the psi as 14, the balls are soft, how often do I need to increase the psi for them to get to normal pressure?

you could just use an old car inner tube cut in half to fill balls and clamp down

One tiny litle problem. Old balls no longer have a true bounce weather pressure is back or not, since they have lost part of their bodies.

Are you talking about the fuzzy texture on the ball? Maybe try more pressure. I am only hobby player. So my tennis balls don’t wear out they get deflated before they wear out. So I made this so i am not always buying new balls to replace practically new, but deflated balls.

diggler2002 it was fully disassembled for portability but it can be left partially assembled for faster use. I’ll make another video showing this with a much longer tube to show how it is scalable.

The hose is the weak link. It gets worn out from bending tightly in the clamp if you give it space and try to bend it loosely air gets into the bends and it leaks. Trying to find a solution. Right now my solution is to move the clamp n the hose to a spot that is not worn out.

I made it from hardware store parts. Its just cheap square tubing. Aluminum tubing will last longer. It needs thick wall thickness and fender washers on the bolts to distribute the load to the walls of the tubing and not bend the tubing in the middle.

What? It works okay, but a converted soda keg works better. This design works good if you need something portable. You can use up to 20psi to restore the balls. The pressure will not retain inside the ball as long as a new ball though, but they will bounce the same if not more than new balls. It takes up to a week at maintained 20psi to pressurize the balls.
