I'm sure there's an argument for the simplicity of the chorus being much more iconic and therefore it is much easier to recall, therefore more people look it up, therefore it spreads farther. I agree that this music piece has more "flavor", but coming up with an iconic chorus, especially these days is commendable and deserves all the praise it gets, in my opinion.

Comparing this to the knife party remix is like comparing a roadbike to a BMX bike; they have different purposes. Porter's version is more of a piece of art and is deeper. Knife party remix is something that gets the people amped and has an actual edm drop. It just doesn't make sense to simply say one is better, they're not similar in any way

I dont want to restart this discussion about audio quality (yet im doing it). Although the 360p, 480p, and 720p all refer to video quality, selecting the video quality also affects the audio quality. This is because of how youtube handles its source video signals. It converts the original video to several different files of MP4 containing AAC for audio and H264 for video. Recent videos have these qualities: 360 and 480p correspond with 128kbit/s AAC audio, while 720p and above correspond to 192kbit/s AAC audio. 240p corresponds to 64kbit/s MP3 or 96kbit/s AAC audio. I mentioned >recent< because youtube has used so many different file and quality formats in the past that I cannot mention all of them. If you're interested, find the header "Comparison of KZitem media encoding options" under the following link: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KZitem#Quality_and_codecs SHORT CONCLUSION: if possible, 720p will almost always give superior audio to 480p and below. 720p corresponds to 192Kbit/s AAC audio, which is the same as apple uses in its store (although not the best in the market). 240p - 64kbit/s or 96kbit/s audio 320p - 128kbit/s audio 480p - 128kbit/s audio 720p - 192kbit/s audio

The thing that I find weird about Porter (don’t get me wrong he’s probably the DJ I wanna see most) is that he’s definitely turned his back on his old style and talks down on it almost. He obviously has a huge Knife Party influence, it’s partly what got him on the world stage. He played tons of their songs when they were huge, most notably during his 2012 and 2013 tomorrowland sets. He should honestly be stoked with the fact that Knife Party remixed this song the way that they did. Don’t hate on party edm when it built the foundation of your career, and especially respect your major influences.

***** I honestly am not proud to consider myself a human. All we do as a race is destroy this beautiful planet, spend and waste all of our resources and also fight each other for no reason other to get more resources. Until this society cleans up its act and start to fix this hole that we have dug ourselves into for the last century, then, and only then will I consider myself apart of this human race. Call me a Creator, a Designer, an Artist. You saying my profile picture kills men is the exact same reason why this so called "Sophisticated Society" is being dismantled. You would be foolish to believe that I am in a frenzied state as of right now. I am here to help this world recover in the vision that it will be back on its feet in the future, maybe not my future but for the future of others.

+Daniel Fahim Islam maybe apples sound library drew inspiration from this track. I doubt porter would have stole this because 1. Porter uses FL studio not logic. 2. Porter is more than capable of writing incredible melodies as demonstrated in his album, Worlds. 3. One of the loops in the same sound library uses the term "Complextro" which is a phrase Porter invented around the time this song came out. So the library must have come out after this track did. Please prove me wrong if that not correct but yeah.
