Last night I made the mistake of confronting the encampments lined up around 50th and Powell area. I asked them how long they planned to be here. They said forever, and then started filming and taking pictures of me and had a woman on a scooter follow me so they can know where I live and threatened to burn my house down. I had to jump through neighbors yards to get back to my house. They know my face and I’m afraid I’ll get noticed from my house to car every morning I go to work now. I called the 911 when I got home, I was put on hold, then transferred to an officer and he told me all he can do is drive by them with his light on. My life has been threatened and I don’t feel safe leaving my home and that’s all they can do.

The cost of living IS a big issue here. I’m all for arresting the guy that uses my yard for a toilet. However, if he can’t afford a place to call home how is he going to get better? A shelter or jail cell is not a home. I agree with what’s his name about putting these people in jail that are breaking the law, but shouldn’t we already be doing that? I’m scared to go outside after dark because of the homeless camp on my street. I regularly see people walking around with weapons. I’m ready to move if something isn’t done.

To illustrate some of what i said below: Look at ALL the "crimes" he decided to accuse the Homeless of possibly/ probably being engaged in. He barely mentioned that some "may have a "low barrier," as if anybody would even know what that means on its own, so twas so kind of him to illustrate; But THEN, omg, he goes on to rip them a new one with his list of possible reasons for remaining on the Streets, such as: "car theft, bike theft, catalytic converter theft" & OTHER 'low level vandalism.' But in case you aren't now viewing EVERY single Houseless Person in Mult. Co. by now as nothing more than opportunistic vandals (& choose to remain so, for to continue their misdeeds); there was even MORE: The 'drug addicts' - 'criminal element' - the 'mentally ill' - 'if u have a gun, oh my Precious Mother of Heaven - by the time he was finished eviscerating & lumping pretty much every person on the Street as worthy ONLY of BARS (not those kind, they might be fun)? but then - he dug into the RV Dwellers: "dumping illegally" & get this, i guess since he's probably NEVER gone out to talk to a single one of them, it still didn't stop him from vilifying, rather unequivocally, for gasp, being "not hospitable!" Holy batsheets Robin - but i wouldn't want talk to him either! So much hateful rhetorik here, 2 little time.

RG used multiple racist tropes in this "Interview." At one point, when speaking (racially) against his Opponent, he used the phrase: 'she is at times the most anti-law enforcement.' Hint: so be sure to visualize BLM & "riots" in the streets. He used the term "radical" - twice even! I guess he wanted to make sure that if we didn't visualize "left wing" from the first time, then by all means, think perhaps even "socialist" with the 2nd ... regardless if she is either. Everything about him wreaks of having zero respect or compassion for the Indigent & sees them as Nothing but ALL - "criminals or "riff-raff" or both! - & with EVERY intention of treating them ALL, as such. Now he tries so very hard to 'appear' as just a mindful concerned citizen, but he is absolutely only 'mindful' of doing the bidding of a right wing & very racist & misogynoir - wealthy class of Oregon. Not unlike how a certain UNCLE (pk) is funding both races for governor that are AGAINST Tina Kotek!
