Thank you for this video! My outdoor succulent was snapped by a storm last night and I have two very big stems that I was worried I had to toss. Thanks to your video I’m letting them dry out and going to place them in water!

Thank you !!! I have been wondering about water propagaiting this plant. I am so excited to do this . I actually started last week and couldn't find any videos on this particular plant. They all do soil , and mine with soil are struggling to root . It's very little. You solved my question ! And BTW, I am obsessed with looking at the roots also !!!

I watched a video that only started the process. She never gave an update. So totally left me hanging. This one was exciting to me cause I saw the rooting was possible. But seeing the growth during the process is definitely fun.

When do you transfer from water to soil?

i’d say once you have at least an inch and a half or two of roots

Any time you see roots you can transfer them. Remember these can root fairly easily in soil as is.

Do you let dry out and do you put the in water all the way are just half

Yes, dry first for 24h then put in water. When roots appear strong after around a month you can plant in 2 parts Akadama soil with 1 part organic soil for best result, other porous stones also work. Put the plant in the shade for 2 weeks before placing it in sun and you will have a thriving Jade

Do you think you could grow these with a gold fish or beta fish living in the vase/bowl?
@lacedreason

contrary to popular belief betta fish need a tank with at least 5 gallons of water, One goldfish need 20gallons. no fish could happily live in anything smaller than 5gallons of water. please research before getting a pet
