Deep meaningful thoughts following this story. The human psyche is a complicated subject, having analysed that thought, one can only be sceptical about how it would play out in the real world as our leadership would not have been brave enough to inform the great unwashed of their pending future. Remember people, we vote them into office, giving them more power than mere mortals should ever yield… God speed and god bless everyone.

For me, this is an excellent story. This is a different prospective from the other books like it. Refreshing.... For those that are skeptical of anything similar happening to us in the future... You are naive. Any aspect of scientific or medical investigation mankind has accomplished so far... has time and time again - shown me what little we know. All we can do is digest proposed human behavior to a catastrophic situation, and prepare accordingly, Don't try to judge and accept or discount. Simply prepare and have a plan ready. That's the best we can do.

This book shows how weak we have become, weak of mind, body, intellect. Why ? Because saving the children holds no survival benefit at all. Children will be born in the future once the event has been survived , mankind has always known this and the children have always been the first to be sacrificed and the survival of men and women has always been given priority.
