Cool :) The wire over the lettering is a neat trick. It is totally fine to play miniatures games with no miniatures at all. Just buy a set of bases and tape tabs of notecard to them (labeled with the identity of the things they are representing). Then if you like it... buy, assemble, and paint one box at a time, and gradually replace your paper warriors with painted plastic ones. There's no need to jump in all at once with a giant army.

This is wonderful! I love the rust and the corrugated metal and the "signs". Especially the Salon sign, considering all of Rapunzel's hair. (One a recent trip to Las Vegas, I visited the Neon Museum, which is sort of a graveyard/display of all the old, out-of-use, neon Vegas signs.) And the story makes perfect sense with the twist of the tower being Rapunzel's fortress now. Higher ground is always better.

This is wonderful!! Wargaming gets us all in the end, it's just a wonderful excuse to work on creative projects like characters and terrain, and rather than it all just sitting on a shelf, you get to take it out for the occasional spin and a bit of a fun, and see it all in action! I painted the odd mini on and off for a few years, then when I made a good, non-competitive friend who was up for hobby days and the odd friendly game, my interest just exploded! I hope you have fun exploring all kinds of projects!!

Congrats on the build, I have been buying and trading kits for my Catachan Army from Games Workshop 40K, I would have the last count a tad over 3500 soldiers which I have converted, and I needed more Female soldiers I went to Victoria miniatures which Victoria Lamb owns it here in South Australia, but her shop is in USA, now I have a tad over a small Company of Van Dieman Soldiers Males and Females with heavy weapon teams. Also, I have made a company of Border World Rangers, as a support company and I have a couple of Penal guard close combat with an old GWS Colonel Shaffer last chancers. I have lots of Armour, in the Dozens, Artillery, Leman Russ Varients, Super Heavy Tanks, Flamer Tanks, Sentinels, Imperial Knights, I have lots of support Aerial aircraft, and I have made lots of converted Armour. I have lots of paints, weathering materials, and brushes, Airbrushes, and four Compressors, etc. But in the past, the figures were both metal and plastic, but they were cheap but now it is getting very expensive to purchase, but if you look around on eBay, even flea markets, and local GWS shops and ask if people are selling the collections of bits and bobs. I have collecting since 1988, when I was a young soldier to my 59yr old man, living out of a Wheelchair as a Disabled person, good luck Miss Mini Life, not many Gals on KZitem building GWS stuff. Cheers from DownUnder

Man, its SO nice to see some black creatives in the diorama/scratch building community. We really don't have too many others, which is a lil upsetting but hey. Makes me want to start a channel of my own, but i know my place is on this side of the screen. This looks *really* good, i absolutely adore it and the story you came up with to justify an apoc fairy tale was great! I think my favorite thing about this is that its a "bit-less" build, so i could theoretically do almost everything as well if i followed along Warhammer is very fun conceptually, but after you spend a small fortune on an army, you then have to subject yourself to often unwelcoming communities and a toxic company that affirms every day that they hate their community. Its just not worth the effort. That said, it really is the best Dune Fanfic there is and allows for some amazing creative stories to be told with miniatures, terrain, books, lore. 3D printing and kitbashing does help make it an easier financial introduction tho.
