Great gearbag , great radio. I’m using a G 90 as well enjoy working portable from the Swedish woods . Think the weight and the low power consumption makes all the difference when out and working portable. As you mentioned 20 w plenty of power. Especially right now in the sunspotcycle. Worked Uruguay last week with an EFHW on 10 m. 73 from Sweden

Thanks! G90's are great. They do a wonderful job and are super portable. I don't feel like I've ever needed more than 20w when doing POTA and I usually keep it at 10w or less and do QRP. Congrats on Uruguay! Very cool! Thanks for watching and 73!

Thanks! I will make Lincoln State Park a priority on my list. I see they have a fire tower. I wonder if you could activate inside of it. Let me know what days/times work well for you and I'll plan accordingly. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks! I love that mug too. Are you also involved in High Power Rocketry? I just got my level 2 cert this past Fall at NSL East in Indiana. Did it on a Minnie Mag!

Great job. How much coax to you normally take with you on an activation? 73 VE1MDF

The coax I keep in the bag with the radio is 10' long. It's a great length for me because its not too heavy or bulky, and is long enough to extend my feed line to wherever I am operating from (should I need it). It can also work to plug directly into my 20m EFHW antenna should I use it instead of the Band Hopper 3. I have a 12' section at home as well that I can swap out should I need it. I bought these from a local electronics store and it's about 80 cents a foot.
