I did find how to fast forward. Works great. Oh, I see you are practicing forgetting. I have to tell you, you will never be as good as me at forgetting. I am one of the best. 😀😀😀

Oh sure, just outright tell me you're zooming through my videos and single handedly affecting my watch times. 🤣 KIDDING! I don't know, Bruce, I think I might be catching up. At least on video. For some reason, when I hit record, the English language and general aptitude and knowledge just go right out the window. Thank you for sticking around and enjoying my videos. I really do appreciate it.

Awesome brother. Just got my 857D go bag finished and hoping to activate some parks this summer.

You're going to have a blast. POTA is hands down my favorite activity within the hobby. I need to get my 857 out more and dive deeper into the settings. That's something I've never quite done. I'll also post an update once I pick an external speaker. Thanks for watching!

FT-857 is susceptible to bad TOKO ceramic filters Due to Humidity wicking into the plastic, it effects the transmitted power output on CW and SSB modes while providing full power on FM. If or when this happens and it TX full power on FM but not SSB you know its not the finals its the filters.

Absolutely, and I've let it collect dust for far too long.
