Hi Sarah....I was so excited to finally make my wonky pot from your template. I did noticed that one side of my clay pot was much higher than the other side. I assumed that is why it was called Wonky Pot. But in your video, your pots do seem to be somewhat more symmetrical in height . So not sure if I could be doing something wrong or not..or if this the way the pot is suppose to turn out. Thanks .

Hi Pat - thanks for the note. Sometimes it is necessary to trim the rim so that it is flat - sometimes not - depends on the attachment of the base to the wall. Sometimes I run a needle tool around the rim to even it out and make the opening wider to accommodate the plant. The more you do the easier it gets! Thanks so much for purchasing the template - do send me a picture of the finished Wonky - I love to see what others do with the project. 😀

Great tutorial Sarah! I have wasted an embarrassing number of hours trying to get angled legs cut and then tilting the right way. You’re tip to put them together and cut top and bottom at 45 deg is genius. Hope you’re enjoying the warmer weather.

Great tute. 👍👍 The shape of the wonky pot somewhat resembles a fez. A red colored slip overall, with a black tassle down the seam might be kool. Possibilities are many.
