sanding bisque fired items is at its best when you want 'smooth', particularly when the clay has grog, or particles that drag and score unfired clay during sanding. Sanding before has many advantages. Sanding after has surface mediation benefits you can't get before firing. And before firing, consider misting and then wiping which will allow shallow voids to be filled or misting then shaping, sanding just with fingers.

Oeeeee I would really like to hear your thoughts on pricing. I am a beginner. But would like to sell my work eventually. I have a really small house. And oh my I am productive when it comes to clay….😂 So looking forward to it!

Pricing can be so tough! I am working hard on how to properly give guidance on this topic!
