Love the fountain! It's gorgeous! 😍 Isn't it too deep for birds, though? I heard they can drown in fountains that are too deep. 🤔 Love the colors. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Lisa- thanks for watching. The birds don't tend to use it but have been known to perch on the side and drink from one. Thanks for your kind words. 😊

Hi and thanks for watching. You could definitely use the dremel on bisqueware. I don't think i'd risk the fagility of greenware myself. Hope that helps. Sarah

What Dremel tip do you use for grinding glaze (ie the spikes you get when you’ve glazed using glaze stilts )

Sarah can you advise on what sort of Dremel I need to grind my pottery and glaze spills. Thank you barbara
@thepotterycorner
Жыл бұрын
Hi Barbara. I use a Dremel (branded) which is pretty powerful. There are many on the market. Just buy the one that's quite powerful as grinding takes a bit of power! Hope that helps and thanks for watching 😊

Really nice--just what I needed to learn how I can use my new dremel to remove stilt marks. I found most reviewers on Amazon agreed with you about the Goxawee grinding bits, so I've ordered my first set. Just for safety's sake though--a dust mask is going to be much more effective at keeping those nasty particles from getting into your lungs than a wet sponge.
@thepotterycorner
2 жыл бұрын
Hey Catherine and thanks for watching. I'm glad to have been of help. A dust mask would be a good idea too but using the wet sponge keeps the particles wet and they don't fly around but to be safe a mask would do the job. Good luck with your dremel ☺️

if you want to keep it centered you can glue an string or chain with a weight at the bottom of it that way it still can move and function but it stays in the center or where you put it

Can u not wear a damp mask to catch the dust
@thepotterycorner
3 жыл бұрын
Hi Margot. Thanks for watching again 🙂. There is no dust as I am 'wet' Dremelling using a sponge. The 'dust' is therefore just slurry on the piece that can be sponged off. Hope that helps 🙏🙂

Wow that piece of garden art you have created there is a triumph ! Pride well earned , I love your narrative of the turtles following each other Initially it looked like a cute scene of turtles frolicking together in the sea. But then to me it evoked a story they are queuing to pop up for essential air and waiting turn to step out onto the beach and into the pleasure of the energy giving and life sustaining sun . an analogy of the queuing society has had to endure gain access to life’s essential needs and desires over the past year ..I don’t know if this was your intention but that’s the story it evoked for me . Thank you for sharing I love it , also the solar fountain is a fantastic idea no hole drilling no electric pump to house wires to plug in brilliant . I have been thinking about making a bird bath into a fountain but been somewhat hesitant with logistics of using an electric pump , Now I feel really inspired ,I hope you have a wonderful and successful show experience. I’m looking forward to seeing what you do in the next video 👍🏻
