Nice vid and good job on the trail! Much respect ✊. And thanks for not using music throughout the whole thing. Much prefer the ambient sound 👍👍

I use a larger shotgun on my main camera to try to pick up the sounds of the outdoors. I have to watch this like 6 times while I'm editing and by the end all I'm listening for is the birds.

Nice video. You didn't camp at the clearing at the top? Been through there a few times with my Hummer. Fun little section.

No. I camped in the camp ground below then drove back to Ohio the same day.

I'm going to but I'm not sure how I want to film it. I'm still deciding on how much of a character I want to be in this channel.

Having the camera not attached to the truck gives a better sense of how rough the terrain really is. It always looks much flatter when it's connected to the truck in some way.

Some spring rubbers like rubber Shox (brand name) would help tremendously with keeping the front down (stiffen the rear). Sumo springs , etc. Something like that. If you have coils, you can get rubber Shox for under $50 probably. If not , sumo springs for under $200.

Great content and driving man, keep doing what you are doing! Subbed from up in British Columbia! Love the ambient sounds and simple production. Something there isnt enough of these days.

Great video! I really enjoyed you not using too much music and the time and effort it took to move the camera(s) and get multiple angles. Really enjoyed it!

Nice video. I was about halfway through before I notices the Lexus badge on the grill. Good, persistent driving without over-doing the vehicle. So many people now don't understand respecting your vehicle and the trail.

I agree. I'm happy I took it over of the Tacoma. I don't think the Taco would have made it without damage.

I’d love to go here. It would be the most aggressive trail I’ve done by far. My truck is capable but I’d be worried about breaking something. Think solo is still ok?

Looks like a cool spot, let’s go wheeling sometime. I’m in the Cincinnati area but I’d make a drive up there to wheel

You’re a crazy man for doing that solo, but good work (driving/filming/editing). Does your truck have rear lockers?

Did your video cover the hardest parts? I have a '96 Toyota Hilux diesel and I'm thinking about trying it out. Might be pushing my limits however
@jmik09

This covers all the gnarly stuff, and the spot he winches has a bypass. Trail is doable without lockers, but I'd highly recommend running with a group in that case. Ground clearance on the Hilux will be an issue in a few sections, so I'd put a full set of skids on the list of requirements as well
