Hearing these lyrics coming out of Satomi's mouth is ridiculous and amazing. What a time to be alive.

I saw Deerhoof last night in Athens, and this song sounded fantastic. They really amped up the dissonance between the "ringing" guitars of the original, and Greg plays like he's got three arms.

Satomi and Deerhoof could play and sing the phone book and I would listen! They are awesome. They are playing tonight in Pensacola Florida and I couldn't go so I tweeted them a message asking for their playlist tonight and they sent it. This is one of the songs they are playing. Would have loved to see it live, maybe next time...ROCK ON!!

One day I need to sit down and rank the greatest albums ever. I'd be shocked if the Covers Cassette didn't make the Top 100.

First thought that game to my mind What a change ? Is Deerhoof made a new song ? Then I think Japanese band Loudness is this their song because I didn't know this song. I don't know what to say it was so surprise for me. But go Hoofs...sometimes going in different music styles opens new ways. I like variety.

As a fan since 1982, I say more power to bands that want to cover classic Def Leppard songs to keep them alive. However, I don't like this cover because she's singing it wrong. The words aren't meant to be articulated clearly and be intelligible. The lyrics - and the singer's voice - are just another instrument. Def Leppard has admitted in behind-the-music videos they came up with the lyrics by listening to the instrument track and writing down whatever 'words' they heard regardless of how nonsensical they were. A lot of bands today certainly have made it big by singing nonsense lyrics that just sound good with the instrumentals (as a fan of J-Rock and J-Pop, I readily admit to liking it despite having no idea what they're singing about and could repeat much of the lyrics)
