Welcome back everyone to another session. On this day a due to the pancake flat forecast i rode a gruelling 10km in the summer heat to head out the west end of rottnest island. At the west end there is a spot called cathedral rocks a tasty long left with a cracker of a inside, the spot picks up every little bit of Indian ocean swell so it breaks even on the smallest of days. Cathedral rocks is also know to be home for a seal colony, due to this and the fact that the west end is a marine sanctuary the sharkiness factor is 10/10. Also to note there are the remains of a japanese tuna boat called the kiryo maru which shipwrecked onto the break in 1984. At first I was pretty reluctant to ride all the way there due to the fact i might had to solo it and i didn't even know how to even get to the break.
Once arriving to my relief there was actually a pretty heavy crowd on it and it looked a solid 3-4ft. Looking around i found the remains of a old track which lead down to a cliff where i could descent down to the break. I decided to grab the stick as it couldn't see any barrels on offer and had been craving a few turns due to so much booging lately. Anixoulsing i trekked down the cliff hopping to not come across or disturb any dugites or trip and die on a stray rock.
Finally once i had made it to the waters edge I was super nervous and gunned it for the lineup.
