That’s the hard and tricky thing dating. You want to get to know the person and enjoy your time together but at the same time nobody wants to feel like they’re being interrogated. @@tigernotwoods914 I feel like I’m at the point where I honestly don’t care if it feels like an interview. Why beat around the bush and avoid the hard-hitting questions? Nobody wants their time wasted in the end. Obviously I won’t ask like super invasive questions on the first date, but I’m definitely not gonna stick to only generic questions and hoping we have a good time. @@samwisegamgee1243Well that's the best way to not have a great time. I'm exactly the opposite, great time first, getting to know who you really are later. At least when you get to realize the person is not the one, you could still say well I had a great time in the beginning. Also I think aggressive straight to the point interrogations are useless against potentially good lyers who can pretend very well to be the person you want. Spending time with a person and talking about various random things can give you way more information about someone. You gotta be a smooth investigator. I have dated many girls who were not slick with the obvious interrogation questions. Date looked liked a damn job interview. Absolutely depressing. Nowadays as soon as I sense the job itw type I call them out and remind them playfully that this is not a job itw, let's have a good time and if we don't like each other then nothing is gonna happen, not the end of the world.

That WHY stuff like this is good. I'm gonna guess your from USA. USA people have this mindset where you have to capitalise on everything good and take it to most commercial platform or its a wasted talent or opportunity. That is where hundreds of regulations apply and change things. Its not just a sole creator putting up their videos, its a corporate machine, and usually the final product is a sanitised, less funny, broader product. Also, with short form comedy like this it leaves you wanting more. It would get boring after a while in long format. Basically, the reason why this is good content is precisely because it is not on TV and in a show. Some things are better just being left well enough alone.

I’ve been on a ridiculous number of first dates from dating apps and I don’t think I’ve ever met any of these types of guys. They were boring but kind people and we had nothing to talk about, but they were never this. 😂 Either that or I left out of boredom before they had time to show their misogyny. 😂

I used to have a best friend like this. He was having a difficult time getting with women for a while. When I finally got to asking him what he looked for in a partner his view on it was completely selfish, narcissistic, and infantile („I want a woman who supports me unconditionally, never gets in my way, and encourages me whenever I’m down”). I kind of joked around and said, „So you’re looking for your mother?” followed by a laugh. He got quietly defensive and never opened up to me again. Sometimes I still look back at that time and hoped that I hadn’t joked around the awkwardness of the situation for me (though humour of that particular sort was our language), and maybe had approached it more constructively. I have much better friends now who are leagues more responsible and thoughtful, and I’m grateful for that but the shadow in me can’t help but feel like I could have been a better friend.
