If you haven't noticed the change, I have been wearing gloves when I handle calcium carbonate (yes, I forgot a few times). I have always worn a good mask, but the texture of the powder left me wanting to get my fingers into it. But, I should wear gloves and...now I do.
I have started to refocus my channel and I hope you like it. I love constructive feedback, so let me know.
I am often asked how I make things. I don't film mixing small things because there isn't a lot of theatre involved. It's pouring out powder, of course playing with it (because that's me!), mixing in water, and forming it into something.
But, I made 3 mixes tonight and versus put it into one long video, I am breaking it up.

Part 2: Gain and Baking Soda
Part 3: Calcium Carbonate
To answer some of the questions I am seeing a lot lately...
1. My mixes are reused, sometimes for cleaning, sometimes into new mixes. They are well loved throughout their lives.
2. I don't spend hundreds or even a hundred dollars a month on this. I buy what's on sale and I reuse things a lot. I buy what is often going to be thrown away because it is broken open (big bag of foca 75% and some dented cans $0.50 each, just this week, ask the manager...they usually are dying to get rid of their unsellable stuff).
3. My family knows I made powdery creations.
4. I do take requests, but often they are very detailed and it can take me awhile to set aside enough time. Also, I don't always have the exact thing you want in your request and as you've read above...I don't just stuff. It's well planned.
Let me know what you think. I have new stuff coming and a few requests planned for this weekend.
