This webinar was part of the Center for the Promotion of Health in the New England Workplace's (CPH-NEW) ongoing Total Worker Health® Trends: Expert Webinar Series, and was collaboratively hosted with the Harvard Center for Work, Health, and Well-Being. This webinar featured presentations examining how laws, regulations, and organizational policy impact the safety, health, and well-being of healthcare workers.
Each presentation will be introduced by subject matter experts, Laura Punnett, Sc.D from CPH-NEW and Glorian Sorensen, Ph.D., M.P.H. from the Harvard Center for Work, Health, and Well-Being. Presenters include Erika L. Sabbath, Sc.D., from the Harvard Center for Work, Health, and Well-Being and Sundus Siddique, Sc.D., M.B.B.S., M.P.H., from CPH-NEW.
Both speakers discuss research findings related to the impact of these policies on healthcare workers’ mental and physical health, burnout, workability and intentions to leave their job. They will also identify the implications of their findings for future workplace interventions and public policy.
