Going through Power Wheels tires too quickly? Then give your Power Wheel Tires an Upgrade. My youngest son Connor rides his Power Wheels 4 wheeler day in and day out, and many times, twice in one day. If he rode on grass, like in our previous home, there is little wear and tear on the plastic tires, but because he rides in our cul de sac, on concrete, the tires literally only last 6 - 8 weeks.

Mountain Bike Tires 29” x 2” - You Need 1 for Two Tires and 2 for 4 Tires
These are not the Iron Horse Tires I got, I could only find those in 26”, but these are the same size, good brand, great reviews, and are an “Amazon Choice.”

Bolt Dropper #14 x ¾” Flat Head Phillips Wood Screw (50pc)
I used a “Truss” Head in the video, but a Pan or Flat Head will work also.

Crescent Wiss Tin Snips - Straight Cut
I have done 2 Power Wheel vehicles now, and used these Snips on the second one. It was way easier with these!

If you are looking for a brand name of Tin Snips you can look at these Craftsman ones below. Like I said, I used the Crescent Wiss Tin Snips above, but I know sometimes, folks like a brand name as well.

Since this video, I have now upgraded 2 Power Wheels, 8 tires in total. These Power Wheels have been used easily 5 days a week, sometimes twice a day, on concrete, over 9 months now, and the tread still looks like they got at least another 6-12 months of use in them.
Doing this Power Wheel Tire Upgrade, which overall cost was roughly $65 and lasting over 9 months now, is in my opinion, more bang for your buck.
Now if you want to buy brand new replacement tires, just like I did the first time they wore out, you can do so at:
www.kidswheels...
A set of 2 replacement tires for front and back will cost you roughly around $85, and if riding on concrete, as often as we do, will only last you 6-8 weeks…
BUT, if you mostly ride on grass and need to replace the tires, this could be a good option for you, as they will last a lot longer on grass.
I hope you found this video helpful. If you have any questions or comments, please don’t hesitate to leave them below.
Now let’s go out there and get the job done!
