The class begins with a brief centering and breath awareness exercise, followed by a series of sun salutations to warm up the body and prepare for the more challenging poses to come. The class then moves through a sequence of standing poses, including lunges, warriors, and balances, which help to build strength and stability in the legs, core, and upper body.
After the standing poses, the class moves to the floor for a series of seated and supine poses, including twists, forward folds, and backbends, which help to stretch and open up the hips, hamstrings, and spine. The class ends with a short savasana, allowing you to fully relax and integrate the benefits of the practice.
Throughout the class, Michelle encourages you to stay present and connected to your breath, while also challenging you to explore your edge and move beyond your comfort zone.
