I used overshoes skates for transportation when I was learning to skate. I was running more demanding parts of my journey, and skate easy stretches. I really like this idea.

Is this skate good for learning?
@PowerslideInlineskates
4 жыл бұрын
basically every skate with wheels around that size is great for learning. the doop 80s give lots of support, have a low center of gravity and are easily to take on and off. all important benefits when you want to learn inline skating. so YES, we would recommend them!

Hi, Doop skates offer enough support - the three buckles keep the feet well locked. Doop skates are used for aggressive skating as well as for SUV skating or transporting/commuting since years without problems. I hope this information is helpful. Feel free to contact us if you have further questions .

An user opinion: NO! It's not supportive enough... I've bought the Doop swift (3x100 non Trinity) and sold it after skating it about 5 or 6 times.

@@RenatoGarcia1000 same skate different user i changed the wheels to used 110 streetkings seba wheels and made the middle strap abit custom first year they ware ok to do almost every trick but felt abit looser on hard turns or jumps my last adjustment was to cut abit of the plastik that holds the upper buckle in an straight position after this modification i can tighten the upper cuff 4 slots tighter and they are virtualy like an good pair of urban hardboot skates ,do jumps magicslides powerslides the right pair of shoes are an must firm and tight to the foot first year i was using some slipin shoes that would feel lose (i needed to tighten the middle buckle so much that i need to rest after more than 80 minutes of skating) but since the top buckle is tighter now i start skating with an very loos midle buckle so for speed and trick i tighten them after 20 minutes of skating around and i can go 35 KM/h no fear of an misstep

Is it possible to jump with them and do tricks?
@PowerslideInlineskates
4 жыл бұрын
it is possible to do so up to a certain degree. but for real urban skate use, we would recommend our powerslide urban skates www.powerslide.com/Urban-Skates or if you prefer the doop-style step in option of skates, our usd shadow skates could be a better choice for you!

Hi, I'm trying to purchase any of the 4x80 Doop and am unable to find any in my size (5.0 - 10.0). Will these be available anytime soon or has it been discontinued? I'm located in the US. Thanks.

As a size 10, 43eu, what size do you suggest?
@PowerslideInlineskates
4 жыл бұрын
we would suggest the larger version if you want to be on the safe side and have some extra space left. if you tend to have not ultra wide feet and usually use low profile shoes with a not so wide sole, the smaller version can work, too.

Unfortunately after a year the baseplates went too used ! No replacement parts available ! AT ALL ! Please consider this when you buy the skates . Contacted powerslide but still no response . U buy a 200=300 $ skate and when something goes wrong no spare parts available . Since the Xsjado changed to Doop no parts available and it is impossible to fix the skates if u use it regularly .

Exposing the toe straps in honesty, will give toe bites. I don't understand why the small slim strap design was kept.

It doesn't. You don't have to have the toe strap tight. I have swift 100s.
