I have been enjoying your videos and just subscribed! I have been looking at these little bikes for a while now and finally ordered the 150cc version, it’s the X Pro Storm DLX. I’m out in Washington so I’m going to take it to the Moto shop and get them to sign off so I can get a plate for it. After doing some mixed dirt and road riding what front sprocket size did you settle on? One other question do the tires say DOT on them? I’m just wondering if I’m going to need to order some to get it past the inspection. Thanks for the videos 😊👍

I appreciate it, and the hawk 125 tires do say DOT on them as for the storm 150 I believe they do as well, I know moto meat youtube.com/@MotoMeat?si=YMvVvC61qVH2cDdx has the storm 150 and would know better than I would

How did you get the back fender off and how/what did you replace the brake light with?
@lowxpectations
Жыл бұрын
Back fender unbolts and comes off, I used a cheap Amazon taillight WELNENT LED E-MARK Tail Light and cut the plate part off, because the stock fender and the plate bracket from the cheap one kept hitting the tire on jumps, I'm still experimenting to find what i like a.co/d/09iinVq

I immediately drained the oil and put in break in oil because of the added zinc, I run break in oil about the first 200-300 miles then I swap out to Rotella t4, battery was a pain in the ass to get the strap over, I can't remember if there was brake fluid or not

Not sure how those compare to the hawk, but the hawk is my tallest bike, but still moves my 220ish lb ass around decently, also look into the grom clones, or the kp mini, I'm hoping one of those will be my next bike

Probably not very good my dude lol. I'm 6'1" and 300lbs. Get at least a 250 or a 300 4 stroke and thank me later. Unless you plan on running wide open all the time and not climbing many hills, I'd stay away from 2 stroke, especially if you have little riding experience. I'm no expert, but I've been riding a long time on a lot of different machines, on and off road, so that's just my 2 cents for what it's worth.

Lifan makes top tier bikes. Much better bikes then other China bikes. In 2006 I bought a LF 200 GY 5 200cc Lifan dualsport from a local dealer for 1650.00 OTD. It is now 2024 and again this summer I will be riding it. Tires, oil changes, batteries, and valve adjustments. That is it. Has been an excellent bike.
