(I originally posted this comment somewhere else, but you've been a big help as well so here's my story so far.) I was worried about what caused my dizziness, I haven’t been diagnosed with pppd but I do believe I have this. It started so randomly, I was just playing a game, all of a sudden my body got really hot and my heart started beating quicker and then the dizziness came, lasted for about 5 hours. Went to the hospital later that night , got blood checked, urine, ears, heart, even a Covid test and everything came back clear. I ended up going to another hospital the day after just because I was so nervous and wanted more opinions. Again, everything was clear but I was told to get rest, one thing that did help me was the breathing that a nurse helped me with. I believe what triggered this was a lot of stress, constantly for a few days, then randomly I felt like I needed to catch a breath.. I took a moment, things were good for a couple moments, and then all the above happened. Sorry for this long comment, just trying to get my story and experience out there. I have hope I can for sure get better, my dizzi/lightheaded symptoms have been getting a bit better, last night sleep was kinda hard but throughout the day I’m okay with concentrating my breathing and focusing on over things. Thank you for this video, Btw this first happened August 11th, around 6 pm.

Nobody could ever tell me what I had, they thought it was either just a inner ear problem or migraines. It's been very depressing and frustrating. I hadn't seen a specialist since about 09 until about 2 months ago and I just found out about pppd and it sounds exactly how I feel and it's just a relief to finally knowing what is wrong with me! I'm still getting another MRI and ENG tests but I'm most certainly positive it is pppd... I can't go on long walks, and open spaces make it worst. Any kind of physical activity also makes it worst. I didn’t but it’s extremely common to have these symptoms because you’re avoiding moving your head in fear that it’ll prompt a dizziness episode. Just told by my doc that he thinks I have PPPD. Our symptoms are very similar. Should I watch movies even though it's hard to take it all in and get your brain used to it again or not?

Small doses is good if you’re struggling! Completely avoiding can sometimes make it worse, but equally overload can be an overstimulation!

Yes they were some of my symptoms, I’d suggest being referred for some tests to rule other conditions out and also mention PPPD to your doctor:)

I know I've commented a couple times but I have a question did your symptoms slowly develop or was it all just. At once type of thing?

They deffooo developed and changed across the years I had it!! When I first had initial symptoms I had some really random ones like body tingles and feelings like I was going to suddenly pass out, I had no problem with my balance until a later stage but then I barely had body tingles, and the head pressure was a symptom I didn’t start off with and began to experience after I’d had it for a while!

I don’t know if you’ll see this cause this was a year ago but I’ve had anxiety since I was 10 years old as I got older it got worse … then November 28th 2021 I had my very panic attack it was terrible I was driving and I instantly thought I was going to pass out I had to pull over because I started freaking out. And ever since then I’ve felt dizzy all the time I can’t go anywhere with out having a panic attack because I’m afraid of passing out. My vision is so bad I struggle with not being able to focus it’s so hard it feels like my eyes are moving when there not. I also get head aches and neck pain pretty often. I also often feel disconnected from myself always very spaced out. I don’t really have a fear of falling though I don’t know if not having a fear of falling takes pppd out of the Question for me. but feeling like I’m gonna pass out getting super dizzy and feeling like I’m moving is the worst part about what I’m going through it’s gotten so bad that I’ve had to go to the er multiple times I’ve had blood work a hand full of times they were normal my ct was normal my heart scans were also normal. The only things I need to do now is get my eyes and ears checked. I’m just very irritated and so over feeling like this. I miss being able to drive I had to quit my job I stopped hanging out with my friend and family I’m in my bed most of the day because I’m so afraid of going out and passing out or even feeling like this in public is so scary to me. I’ll be sitting there and all the sudden I feel extremely weird dizzy and faint. But the doctors and er nurses have told me it’s all in my head and it’s just anxiety and I hate hearing that because what I’m feeling is so real. I also get neck twitches I don’t know if that’s a part of pppd but this is just so so scary :(

Hey! I’m so sorry to hear you’re going through this I know how disheartening it can feel when doctors just shrug it off, with the balance/fear of falling I wouldn’t say you necessarily have to have this in order to have the condition- and a big barrier is that a lot of doctors still don’t know about it, hence why a lot of people struggle to get diagnosed! I recommend trying the vestibular exercises from my other PPPD video as these are effective for a range of dizziness conditions and it’s a long term solution! I’m going to be creating a guide soon with alll my tips and advice for those who suffer with dizziness/ think they might have PPPD so this may be helpful for you ♥️♥️

@@EMJAYstyles Thank you so much honestly it really is disheartening and so exhausting… and on top of pppd if that’s what I have like I said I have anxiety pretty bad and it makes it 20x worse because I make myself sick because I worry so bad about it. I have a certain type of anxiety it’s call health anxiety and it makes me a hypochondriac and it’s so hard to get through my day because of it but I’ve been trying to better my mental health and now I’m dealing with the pppd so hopefully the therapy works for me because if it doesn’t I have no other option because I’m already on anti anxiety meds. EXCEPT! I just started a new one cause I was one one for a good 6 years so hopefully this one does something for me! Again thank you for the info I’m so glad I found your video it gives me some hope!🤍
