I think when a video has Conventional deadlifts, it always deserves a like

Very good, your video. Good marks, I'm also a 105kg athlete, in Brazil. Muito bom, seu vídeo. Boas marcas, sou atleta também da 105kg, no Brazil.

Nice Job, but is this Ipf affiliated? because then you arent allowed to put your sleeves on with straps hahaha
@QqKamilqQ

You're right but not many comps actually care about that, seen people on UK Nationals do it

Nah, this is a qualifier for nationals. As long as the brands are ipf qualified they are accepted in Japan powerlifting.

i didnt know that. The knee sleeves I used could probs be put on without straps but my calf is fat so stiff sleeves are hard to get on.

You know thatif a referee see you putting the sleeves this way, you can be thrown of the comp

nice vid dude. what's the size of your knee sleeves 😂 and why do you do high bar squats? I've only recently started doing low bar, and it causes me bicep tendonitis, thinking of switching back to hb

Yo man this is awesome! I’ve two USAPL meets but am stationed here by Fussa Tokyo. How did you sign up for the meet? And how hard would it be to go there and compete with no handler and knowing very little Japanese?
@colin9483

go to this website powerlifting.shikuminet.jp/members/pre/?user_type=1 and sign up. You should be able to navigate the site with google translate. It will cost I think around 2200 yen a year I could be totally off but it will auto withdraw from your credit card. After you register you would go to powerlifting.tokyo/ this site. if you scroll a little bit down you will see dates with titles like 第35回東京都春季ベンチプレス選手権大会 which would be a bench only competition. But a title like 第81回 東京都パワーリフティング選手権大会 which is the competition I singed up for would be a full mens competition meet. Hope that helps. If you need extra help dm me on my instagram in my bio
