first of all thank you for the much detailed review and you're the first one to review PR2 and goes dive down to comparison with the OG PR1 and imagine if you change your title to english you will definitely get better reach and views, lastly do you think it's worth upgrading my KZ ZVX with the PR2?? i'm kinda basshead, thanks in advance

Thank you for your comment. And I will try the matter of the English title. The low range of PR2 is the same as ZVX or slightly suppressed, so DQS may be better for BassHead. I think the PR2 is superior to the ZVX in terms of spatial expression, so I think there is an advantage to purchasing it other than the low range. The sound quality is largely dependent on your taste, so please read it as a reference only.
oh my, KZ did it again.. first of all, many thanks for this indepth review, like ussual, you're the best Jacques.. PR2 launch with colaboration to HBB, wow..very interesting.. based on my tinhifi P1max and KZ CRN to hear the comparison sound demo, PR2 are more linear and midrangey than PR1 pro, that are more V shaped.. PR2 have warmer and natural presentation and good headstage but PR1 pro shows more spacious on staging, micro detail and airy/open.. on the high ext PR1 pro more laidback than the aggresive PR2, but both have great extension on the highs.. both sound bright on my CRN but sound just natural tend to warm on my P1max..

I was happy with the PR1 Pro, but when I listened to the PR2 I realized I wasn't very good at super high frequencies. Maybe it's because the PR2 sounds like a dynamic driver model. The remarkable difference in frequency characteristics is interesting, and I thought that HBB was aiming for a different atmosphere from the PR1 Pro.

Nice review, thought the PR1 Pro on your rig sounded 'fuller' with better timbre, though the PR2 had a little more air. Soundstage was also wider on the PR1 Pro. PR2 price is great though, and planar tech should be sensitive to Eq for a bit more mid bass punch.

The sound demo was adjusted based on the PR1 Pro, so that's how I felt. The Planar certainly feels delicate. I thought that the mid-low range was aimed at Tuning. However, the dynamic driver may still be more powerful in the low range.

Listened this demo on different gears. PR1 Pro was an already great IEM but it had some problems. Seems like PR2 solved those problems and added lots of fun. PR1 Pro has that "in your face vocals" with too much treble also the soundstage is narrow. PR2 solved treble problems and vocals sound distant alongside with instruments. This thing has huge soundstage and it will surprise people. ian fann said the same thing about PR1 Pro being so intimate and he said PR2 had big soundstage. PR2 has solid sub bass also, its shaking :) Midbass is not elevated end seems cleaner compared to PR1 Pro. When it comes to detail retrieval PR1 Pro is better thanks to elevated treble. Its harsh and too much compared to PR2. Moondrop Stellaris has too much treble and crazy details too but its very fatiguing. If you are not a pro musician and dont plan to use it for studio recording purposes you dont need that much treble. If you are a treble head, well, thing can change :) Most of us choose sub bass over treble, so Pr2 is better overall. Thanks for the review and sound demos :)

If the PR2 hadn't been released, I would have been satisfied with the PR1 Pro, but when I listened to the PR1 Pro after listening to the well-balanced dynamic driver model, I was a little concerned about the sharpness of the high frequencies. With the PR2, that problem has been resolved in the measurement results, and although it's a planar model, I like the fact that it looks like a dynamic driver model. In that case, I feel like I should listen to the dynamic driver model from the beginning. 🙂

pr2 sounds much more close to the source. pr2 has elevated subbase but i like it and prefer it to pr1pro's treble elevation. when you listen to the sound demo the first time you might like pr1pro's details but when it switches to source you see how far it is from original source. i would buy pr2 if i hadn't spent my money on legato🙄😥

So what if it sounds diff to source. It sounds so much better to me. I am gonna cancel pr2 and order pr1 pro or s12.

@@dbangsu1873 u did the biggest mistake of ur life cause they are still for 39 bucks. You just had to do cheap mod (olina SE dampers instead of the stock dampers) and upgrade that stock cable (15buck yinhoo16core, which u should upgrade from every the stock cable anyway) and use 3th party tips (after the mod I liked the TRN T tips the best, synergy).
I think the second part of the first track playing is the PR2 and not the source.

I checked the project file in the editing process. Where it should say PR2, it said Source, and where it should say Source, it was blank. The image was placed incorrectly. sorry.
Do you think that the PR2 is lacking in performance in the frequency range compared to the PR1 Pro? The dip on the upper treble of PR2 concerns me. Do you also think there are more positive things on the PR2 compared to PR1 Pro? I'm trying to decide if I should spend more for the PR1 Pro or less for the PR2 Thank you for your detailed review and comparison!
Will you pick PR2 over TRN Rosefinch when only comparing the technical part of the sound? Considering the price is about the same and Rosefinch has better build quality.

I'm not very technically savvy. Choose according to your sound preference. Rosefinch doesn't suit me because the high frequencies are too sharp and hurt my ears. So I choose PR2.

@@MDJacques Understandable. I don't think both of them suit my preference, but then you mention that PR2 sounds like a DD so I'll probably go for Rosefinch and EQ it. Thanks for the respond, great review as usual.

If EQ correction is OK, Rosefinch has become very good. It's hard to find a model that fits your taste by default.
