very humble guy but an absolute force on the guitar.

Learning of Justin’s background in education, I’m not surprised at his effortless explanations that just make sense. I look forward to all of Justin’s videos and teaching moments and he’s become a staple in my learning. I can’t speak highly enough of this interview. The questions were real, thoughtful, and really invited the listener to be able to hear a wide ranging yet specific set of information on the session world. The reference to Faith Hill’s performance on Letterman…I’ve many times watched this exact performance…it keeps you coming back for more. Such a great example to us all!

Very interesting , great questions - I could listen for hours. Justin is such a open-minded and likable guy. His thoughts on serving the song and the artist are so inspiring and I love how tasteful he plays. Everytime I watch his videos I am learning a thing.

Oh, man... I am that guy who sits in his "little math office" -- actually a pretty big office now that i am associate dean -- and wonders about what could have been. Good job, dude!

I wish there was more teaching people that if you are in a band or whatever you need to memorize the material before the meetings before the band practice, so many musicians don't wanna do that and it sucks

It’s so much about creating countermelodies. On the fly. Justin is great at this. Knowing theory doesn’t hurt, nor does it hurt to have your finger on the pulse of what is hot on radio. But leaning on what’s hot currently in different genres. I dunno. That’s what I do. Justin is such a pro. Does all that without thinking.
