I love how you took a 5min break from making some of the best educational content on KZitem to deliver a double smackdown to some nutjobs and then went right back to work. Also, do you think you could write a script on some different time management/study techniques? Cue cards are all I know and they aren't helping much in Ochem

I do get a lot of questions about study techniques, unfortunately I don't really think they are answerable! There is no secret, that I am aware of, to studying. You just buckle down and do it. There are little tricks like flash cards but really it's just time and effort!

Hey dave, one of my uni professors convinced me that VESPR theory is mostly not true and contradicts some evidence. Most of the phenomena explained by vesper are better explained by the ligand close packing model. Have you heard about this? Any thoughts?

Just like any theory, it has its limitations, check out my tutorial "limitations of VSEPR theory" to see what those are! In the end VSEPR works great for elements in the second period, which is what most of organic chemistry is concerned with, but yes it's not the be-all end-all of molecular geometry.

@@ProfessorDaveExplains ah, I'll check it out. Keep up the good work dave, I've been watching since I took organic chem and I can't express how much you have helped.

Prof Dave why the lone pairs of ClF3 didn't occupy opposite positions like those in XeF4 considering minimum repulsion.

Have you ever though about releasing a video on Organometallic Chemistry? More specifically, could you please make a video about Olefin Metathesis?
