For the competitive shooter there are systems that track your hand movement and can tell what movement came from the trigger control or your basic tremor. It'll set you back about 1k $ but it's legit and shows you your progress.

I bought what you are showing (along with the reset trigger for my G19 Gen5; extra $170 for that little add-on) for about the same price you paid. However, I also figured out how much I was going to spending on real ammo compared with the (approximately) 5000 laser hits per battery pack and discovered that this was a fantastic way to save $ thousands over real ammo & range fees. Plus, I could practice ANY time, ANY where in the house, REGARDLESS of the weather outside, AND I could make an unlimited number of course variations to shoot at. Thanks for the video, keep them coming. 👍

You absolutely need the addon to not be forced to rearm your weapon after each shot, because your action go to be more fluid and most importantly, you don’t go to train you muscle memory with a bad habit who can lead to injury or death if you replicate this drill in a real situation.

I use the Laserlyte cartridges, same issue with racking the slide on my XDm but the 9mm was around $90 on Amazon much easier price to swallow. They also make reactive targets for around $100. You can really use any target you want, a laser is a laser to shop around Amazon and you can make a nice training kit for less than half the price of this.

you have to be careful about what pulse your laser is, I have 2 Laserlite blue guns that shoot a red laser but they will not activate those targets, they work fine with my Smokeless Range simulator but not with those targets. I also have a SIRT bolt for my AR that will not activate them either because the laser's pulse is not right.

Another nice benefit of this system is the relief you get knowing that you can let your buddies practice all they want with it and it is still only costing you a few pennies. Think about it, a battery pack costs only $8.50, and letting your buddy take a healthy 500 practice rounds is still only costing you about 85 cents. At that price, you can afford to be generous with your practice rounds.

I purchased the single target system for $100, when I opened the box I was completely surprised. I thought this came as a complete kit, with the laser cartridge but saw that it didn't and had to spend a additional $100 for it! I agree for what you get, it's a simple electronic circuit installed in a plastic shell with a few buttons is way over priced! As a ICET tech I could build this for under $75 If the targets showed shot placement and groups maybe!

I've been debating on getting the Mantis x, the G sight, or Laser Ammo. Mantis looks like it has best software but lasers have to be added if you want that feature, G sight is only for shooting at one target. Laser Ammo looks like the best option because it has both a laser to see where the dot lands and multiple targets. I don't think the analysis offered by the Mantis X system is needed; it is detailed info but if you can get accurate enough to hit the target, you probably don't need all the data telling you about your control and trigger pull.

Would you rather fire 750 rounds or 10,000 rounds? For the price (which can be WAY less for the laser), you get 750 rounds (average price depending on caliber) of ammo. That is a lot of practice with out a doubt. Now you have to load your range bag, get in the car & go to the range, hope it's not raining (assuming outdoors), & then clean the gun when you get home. That is 1-3 ALL DAY trips to the range (which you may have to pay to go to in addition to the ammo...). How much is a full day of your time worth? Then your done, as in you have to start spending money & time again, & again, & again, & again... etc. I would recommend spending a little more in all honesty. Buy a cheaper laser from amazon ($40), buy the targets ($250 but 5 would be even more fun...;) ), & buy either a dry fire mag ($100) or a reset trigger from the Glock store ($200). That does put the total between $400 & $600 but that gives you UNLIMITED ammo that you NEVER have to clean your gun after using. You can use this system in your living room even in you live in an apartment. You can practice shooting in your underwear! After you fire several hundred (guessing at actual # :/ ) laser shots you replace the $1 battery, effectively negligible cost for batteries. So is $400 - $600 worth 10,000 rounds of practice in your living room, that you don't have to clean your gun after, that you can do in the rain, etc, etc, worth it?

its really just to teach you trigger control, you will learn nothin of recoil management for really fast follow up shots..im sure its fun to play with but in the end its just a toy, and they are asking way to much for what it really is.. id buy it for 100 bucks just to maintain my trigger control when i cant fire my gun.. the kit that comes with adapter for 9 45 and 223 is $199.. temping but i'll pass and get some snap caps
@m.p.2482

Dry fire practice works on way more than trigger control. You can incorporate this with drawing from concealment. This also helps with sight picture and sight alignment. Space the targets apart and you can work on target transitions. Sure, you don't get the recoil management practice. But, working with this gives you more range time for working on recoil management. So, yeah, more than just a toy. I've used the iTarget Pro for a few years now, same concept except it uses your phone and one target. It helps a lot. Do the Dot Torture drill before and after training with something like this and I guarantee improvement.
