Wow, kunai?! Would love to see how it can be used, very curious. Yeah, I am also very new to rope dart, not even two months into practicing it, and can’t find a master in my city, so yeah, have to learn from mistakes 😅😬

@@ThreadedKinetic in terms using your own creation, hmmm, interesting, I do have a tennis ball ver that I use when trying new moves, I do however insert metal chain into the tennis ball, with an aim to adding weight, and that tennis ball I’m using is currently sitting at 250g.

Practicing this form of art for a while now, and I have to say that I prefer meteor hammer than dart. You can definite search meteor hammer, using eBay. I would recommend something not too light or too heavy. Personally, I quite enjoy 250g hammer/dart. Rope-wise, I find either 6mm or 8mm works well for me.

@@bryanchong4518 oh I see. Sorry about that. That tutorial video was such a great starter, was it not. So, after this, I began to “try” to define my own style, the style that focuses a bit more on body/neck wrapping/tangling, adding footworks, and shooting, which is kind of different from the style as proposed in that tutorial videos. So hmmm no, I don’t have other materials apart from utilizing my imagination and testing moves and of course lots of self-harm, unintentionally. Overall, one particular style I am avoid is the western, festival fire dance style and their focus on “flow”, I cannot agree with that. So I guess at the end of the day, it’s more about what you want your style looks like.
