I first saw this video a couple years ago on MSN Bubble, but it had a much cooler song that went with it, not that this one is bad, it just doesn't live up to technical prowess that the other song had. If anyone has any idea what that other song was, it would be totally awesome as I can't find this video anywhere with a song different than this one. The song I first heard this with was closer in sound to something that could be by Crystal Method.

@TiagoTiagoT no olympic sport like that. it's enough that being a champion in current olympic sports is expensive - but imagine mastering this - at even $20/minute it's too f*cking much ... less about sports or being good at it and more about money ... but maybe something like redbull freefall race would be appropriate :) try calling Dietrich Mateschitz - i think he'll be interested...

@sheepintheherd There are powerful jets forcing air at high speeds up into the cylinder from the floor. This is what experts and trainers will use for practice before skydiving; or just for fun. Essentially, all these men are doing is using their knowledge of how to manipulate the exposed surface area of their bodies to move in certain directions w/in the cylinder in sync. While the explanation is relatively simple, this is not to undermine the incredible skill demonstrated by these four people.

I like doing the practice more in private. Not so good yet, this video is similar to the windowed turbine in universal city, very open to outside viewing. It look like ghosts floating around when pros do this. Hardly see any body movement to make the directional changes

@zombiecrue they are steering by moving their legs, and hands and the position of the body. if you want to float more u need to have a high area on which the wind to hit. by moving arms, legs..etc , you can steer. Pretty amazing, thought:D:D:
