The Circus March as we used to call it. Forgotten who said it but suggested the lyrics to the first phase are. Here he comes, here he comes, here he comes, here he comes, Wilf Heaton, Wilf Heaton. 😊

Fantastic performance. Some brilliant elements, including the percussion section, and the flutters on the Euphonium. Deserves a standing ovation

Excellent, my favourite march to play and to listen to. As a trombone player I have enjoyed playing this more than once.

Wilfred Heaton's finest composition, in my opinion.

I don't think he ever wrote a bad composition my favourite is Just as I Am. Less than half a page of General Series sheet but oh my how much he packs into it! Bram Tovey conducting Fodens Brass Band is a fine example. They say contesting bands can't play devotional pieces but their rendition certainly blesses me!

The job of a conductor is to interpret the music as he or she consider appropriate. Perhaps those who have commented critically would explain their reasoning.

Is there a more tedious performance of this music? Singers would be hard pressed to inject any life into the theme song at this tempo

@@davidmckeever8917 If you look at the score then you will see David Robertson is correct. In fact if you look at any score conducted by Stephen Cobb you will realise that David Robertson is correct
