Another series of lectures by Pavel Goya. This is a weekend meeting in one of the US churches. The entire material has been divided into approximately 30-minute segments and will be broadcast as a 10-episode series.
Pavel challenges listeners by offering reflection on the way we pray and love for those who hate us. He talks about personal experiences with neighbors who have been both helpful and hostile, thus exposing the weaknesses and struggles that we all go through. As a result of his prayers, instead of experiencing blessings, the pastor experiences adversity. However, his wife, a true hero of faith, convinces him that he can live where he is because of these nasty and hostile people, to show them an example of love. Pavel recalls the teachings of Jesus, who loved even his enemies, and calls on his listeners to do the same. Ultimately, it suggests that true victory and love cannot come until we are willing to lay down our lives for others, just as Jesus did.
