Eby Freaks me out knowing historic British Columbian Politics in the Greater Canada Power struggle. Eby Comes from the Laurentians. He was installed into BC Politics from the East using the Historic Launching point for the East coast elite to circumvent British COlumbian Politics... Vancouver-Point Grey. Back with W.A.C. Bennett and the Social Credit party hay day's, Premier Bennett was a Global Celebrity and all star, He built BC to what it is today. He was at international conventions negotiating on behalf of British Columbia and pushing the West. This pissed off the East coast Laurentian Elite in Canada. They went after the Social Credit party when it entered Federal politics and spread across Canada. They Installed Garde Basil Gardom, Kim Campbell, Then Gordon Campbell. Christy Clark and Now David Eby. When you understand the Demographics of Point Grey and who owns? It gets very dubious. Everything British Columbia has of any significance stems directly back to WAC Bennett's hands. It's that crazy.

I like how Eby talks like a normal person. Not a big fan of how slow the NPD has been to expand access to effective long term solutions for drug abuse. Would be great if a lot of those people could recover and start paying taxes. I bet some recovered addicts could also become great counsellors for other recovering addicts. Investing in people who are in need pays out in the long run. Preventable deaths waste the tax money we invest in people and devastate the mental health/productivity of those left behind. @@floormatt3Easy. The BC NDP government, since taking power in 2017, has badly handling the province’s finances and economy. When they assumed office, the previous BC Liberal government, led by Christy Clark, had left behind a budget surplus. However, over the years, the NDP's policies have turned this surplus into a substantial deficit, ballooning to multi-billion-dollar levels. The expansion of government services, social programs, and public sector wages has significantly increased spending, while the NDP's reliance on deficit financing has raised concerns about fiscal sustainability. Their economic policies have weakened the province's ability to respond to future challenges and robbed the next generation. NDP has caused harm is in their treatment of landlords and short-term rental operators. Their policies, such as rent freezes, stricter rental regulations, and restrictions on short-term rental markets like Airbnb, have made it harder for landlords to manage properties and forced many operators out of business. These measures have been overly punitive and harmful to property owners. The combination of increased government intervention in the housing market and rising costs of operation has discouraged investment and reduced rental housing availability, further exacerbating the province’s housing crisis. The government’s approach to energy and healthcare has also been poorly managed. While other regions are exploring nuclear energy as a cleaner and more efficient alternative, the BC NDP has largely ignored this option, continuing to rely heavily on hydroelectric power and natural gas. In addition, healthcare wait times have lengthened significantly, leaving people with delays for essential services. The NDP’s reluctance to explore innovative solutions in both the energy and healthcare sectors, combined with growing public sector costs, has to put it lightly led many to question the overall direction of the province under their leadership.

My entire life I have only voted NDP. It's looking like that is going to change. Printing money and inflating our wages away is unacceptable and extremely hypocritical for people that claim to be "for the 99.9%". It's also a big reason why housing is so unaffordable, we shouldn't be shocked that housing prices are through the roof, meanwhile we are actively debasing the currency. The payments to the banks, simply to service the federal debt, is equal to our sales tax revenue. NDP and Liberals blame inflation on grocery stores, David Eby says that the bank of canada cutting interest rates is actually a good thing for inflation.. Anyone who knows anything about economics knows that this is not how it works. When you increase the money supply you have inflation. It's just like Kamala Harris, saying they'll introduce price controls to combat inflation. Why don't you just stop printing money?

Provincially, Eby has said that inflation is a problem right now and it'll get better once we lower the interest rates. Actually, the interest rates are controlling the inflation by making it more expensive to print money.. Does he not even understand basic monetary policy?
